In a few words
Hello! My name is Julien Mahot, and I am a System & Network Engineer. I completed my studies in September 2024 after three years of apprenticeship at Covage, an internet infrastructure operator. After my apprenticeship, I was hired on a permanent contract at Covage from September 2024 to August 2025, where I worked within the Network Engineering Department on design, automation, and technical project management. Since August 2025, I have been working at Bredin Prat as a Systems Engineer within the IT Department.
Thanks to my diverse experience, I have developed a dual expertise in networking (LAN & WAN, routing, security) and systems (Linux, Windows, Azure, M365). This versatility enables me to thrive in demanding environments, lead complex projects, and deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
Why me?
My background has allowed me to strengthen my skills in two key areas:

Systems (Linux & Windows):
- Within the IT department, I developed solutions as level 3 support, designed operating procedures, and created automation scripts for level 1 and 2 technicians.
- As acting workplace support manager for 5 months, I gained solid experience in vendor management, leading a helpdesk team, and adapting to new responsibilities.

Networks (LAN & WAN):
- As part of the Network Engineering team, I developed strong discipline in managing complex projects, with deliverables intended for production teams.
- Managing ambitious technical projects has helped me sharpen my autonomy and strengthen my ability to meet the demands of a dynamic environment.
What I bring
